Kira's work is absolutely amazing - the world's she creates and the character's she comes up with are all so dynamic! Her work is beautifully written and I recommend her to all of my friends!

Kira's Taming Riki series is just one of those stories that pulls you in so quickly you're surrounded. It's full of love, suspense, drama, dark and light-heartedness. It's a MUST read for all fans!

Sheer delight, the author brings the Ai No Kusabi story to light in lovely detail. It makes more sense with her stories to give insight where the series leaves off. This story continues the titalizing tale of a Blondie Master and His Pet. Along with, as in the end of the Tami Riki, introduces delightful characters and the sensual Voshka Kohsi with is mysterious pet Aranshu.

Just... no.

Where to start with this!? Volume II of Taming Riki leads us into further twisted plotlines and heart-breaking emotional ups and downs for all the original characters brought to life by Kira's wonderful writing. Well-developed stories, with delicious scenes of love, betrayal, discipline, and drama, we are lured into the world that Takenouchi has crafted for our reading pleasure. Definitely a must-read for any kinky erotica fan as well as anyone who adores the world Kira has created.

I’m in the process of planning a 10-week journey through Europe and the whole process has been a little overwhelming. That’s why I’m so happy I found this book. It has alleviated so much of my stress and it has made the whole planning process enjoyable.This book covers pretty much everything you need to know about planning a trip to Europe — hostels, using the trains/rail passes, budget airlines, solo travel, itinerary tips, packing lists, rental apartments, travel strategies, eating on the cheap, and a lot more.The book is written for people wanting to travel on a budget so there is a lot of advice about saving money. But the advice isn’t exclusively focused on doing everything as cheaply as possible; it also talks about getting the maximum value for the money you spend (your time is more valuable than money).This book is great for budget-minded travelers in their 20s/30s but the advice is good for travelers of all ages. If you’ve already traveled to Europe a few times then you might already be familiar with a lot of the information in the book, but for new travelers the tips in this book will save you a lot of time and money. I highly recommend it.One final note: This book doesn’t contain information about specific destinations (i.e. it won’t tell you what to see/do/eat in London). It focuses on travel skills and planning advice. For destination specific advice I recommend looking at guidebooks like Lonely Planet or Rick Steves.

I love this book!! I decided that I was going to backpack Europe solo next summer and began reading up on it online. I found a website called [...] and this book was recommended there.I've read it once and plan to reread it so I can ensure I soak up as much of his tips and tricks as I can. He gives very well rounded advice about each subject he touches on. Whether it's where/when to buy plane tickets, advice on where you should stay (hostel/hotel/couch surfing/etc.), or even what type of clothing to invest in and pack. He has a lot of really amazing helpful information and he provides you plenty of websites and books so that you can refer to all of them and make the best decision for you and your trip. I loved it!!

It's now a couple years old. Also, there are some grammatical and spelling errors. But overall the Savvy Backpacker (including the website too) is an excellent resource. Only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is that this information is available scattered on the website for free. It's still relatively cheap for a good combination of what the author has on his website. That aside, nobody else has put together a list of European specific backpacking travel advise. I plan to do a grand tour style trip after I graduate in either the Fall or Spring term.

I misunderstood, thought this book was about places to visit in Europe on a Budget. It's not. Has no geographical or political info, only information like "what to pack and how to be careful." I was very disappointed. Guess I trusted the title and made the mistake of not reading the description well.

Its a good book to get started, but its a little basic in its ideas, mostly covering obvious travel tips like "if you want to save money dont stay in an expensive hotel."

I bought this because my daughter is going to travel Europe and plans to spend as little money as possible. It had good travel advice and I highlighted a bunch of information for her before giving her book.

As an avid traveler, I really enjoyed this book. A friend recommended it because he knew I enjoyed traveling. As an older traveler, I’m not really on a budget, but I like to save money. So many good tips on so many different aspects of travel, for young and old alike.

I bought a couple of books for my college student. He will be studying and traveling abroad this fall. This is a quick read with lots & lots of great information & tips.

I could not until I read Soldier X: Trapped behind Enemy Lines.Young Soldier X finds himself alone--but alive--in a long deep trench. Aware that the Nazi war front is crumbling in Russia, he continues to obey military instructions imbued with the idea that he must fight to the death for his mother country. Vaguely aware of the atrocities committed against Jews, he has been brainwashed into believing that Jewish people are a stumbling block to the Nazi ideal of world conquest. Yet, in spite of this Nazi upbringing, Soldier X's conscience begins to challenge those beliefs.As he sits in his trench fully aware that the approaching Russian tanks and infantry are unstoppable, he questions why he must remain in this forward position. His commanding officer has instilled an appalling fear in his heart that if he dares to run or retreat he will be killed by his own officer. Such is the loyalty to the Nazi war effort led by notorious Hitler and his regime.Overrun in his trench, he stays in place. To his good fortune, a Russian tank stalls directly over his trench caught up in volumes of barbed wire placed by Nazi retreaters to stop the onslaught of the, now, Russian offensive. It is relatively short and would make an exceptionally good book for high school students to read and discuss among themselves if led by an enthusiastic teacher. What the Nazis did to the civilized world has changed forever the thinking of decent human beings.But the feelings of Soldier X can at least give us a glimpse of what a demonized hatred-cult can do to euthanize a young mind. More importantly, it can show how the human spirit, in spite of intense brainwashing at a young age, when left to its own devices, this spirit can recognize that it is the soul of each person--be they German, Jewish, Polish, Russian--that makes them worthy of the title, "Human Being."One might think this book is for the younger generation of males. Wrong! I would recommend it for everyone because if we are not to repeat history's past mistakes, we must recognize the thinking that caused them. In his native Germany, he's 16-year-old Erik Brandt, but when he's sent to the eastern front in the desperate waning days of WWII, Erik's bilingual upringing (one set of grandparents is Russian) allows him to become Aleksandr Dukhanov. The problem? With the front shifting weekly due to offenses and counteroffenses, Erik/Aleksandr finds himself confronted one moment with one side, one moment with another, as he is torn loose as a refuge after graphically-described attacks.Interesting? You bet. As a war writer, Wulffson has done his homework. The tale of a boy forced to be a man is common enough in this genre, but this particular boy (who adopts X as a nickname) is an especially compelling case, and Wulfsson's afterword tells us it was based on a real case. Certainly the history he cites is accurate, and the descriptions of trench warfare are eerily realistic as well.Eventually this war story morphs into a war/love story with the introduction of Tamara, whom X works beside in a makeshift Russian hospital. But the spirit of the book remains with the war, and the theme is deeply entrenched in the ironies of a soldier who can not only fight equally and reasonably for BOTH sides, but can befriend citizens and fighters for both sides as well. The enemy, then, is war itself -- war and the hell it unleashes.This book has little profanity but much violence. Still, it is well-written, and reluctant readers (especially boys) who are interested in history and war will quickly become spellbound by the narrative. The novel can be enjoyed by adults as well as teens. A real winner, X marks the spot -- and if you had any misconceptions about war being a romantic and exciting thing, SOLDIER X will strike it out of you forever.

My middle schooler really enjoyed this book

Im a little delayed with the rating but better late than never. I will admit I'm not much of a reader but when I do feel like reading I noticed that anything WW2 will keep me engaged. This book I loved. I won't give away any of it but I will say it does take you along side of this soldier and makes you feel like you are experiencing everything that he was. Very great book!
